TCR has a rich history as the largest producing theatre in the state of Iowa. We produce on three stages, host educational programs for all ages, and staff hundreds to fill our explosive production calendar. As we enter our second century, we invite you to join in fulfilling our our vision. Funds raised for TCR's Dream Here, Do Here Capital Campaign will unify infrastructure, renovate upper floors, and enhance production and patron experiences to launch the next era of community-centered theatre, education, and partnership.

A love story set under and above the high seas, The Little Mermaid tells the story of Ariel, a mermaid fascinated by the human world. When she witnesses a shipwreck and rescues Prince Eric, she makes a bargain with the evil sea witch, Ursula, to trade her tail for legs. But the bargain is not what it seems, and Ariel needs the help of her colorful friends, Flounder the fish, Scuttle the seagull and Sebastian the crab to restore order under the sea.
