When midwest native and film industry veteran Calvin Bard opened the Iowa Theatre Building in 1928, its design prioritized something simple and powerful: a great view from every seat. Today, as part of our Dream Here, Do Here capital campaign, we are renewing that vision with a full auditorium seating renovation.

This transformation will include:

• Brand new, modern auditorium seating
• Restored historic cast iron seat ends
• Updated wooden armrests
• A more comfortable and immersive patron experience

Your participation helps ensure that every future audience members enjoys the same sense of connection, comfort, and storytelling that has defined TCR for generations.

With a $5,000 gift, you may dedicate a pair of auditorium seats with a custom inscription.

Each dedication includes:

• A brass plaque mounted on the back of your selected seats
• Up to four lines of text, with 20 characters per line
• The opportunity to honor a person, family, or meaningful message
• Optional seat selection upgrades

Your inscription becomes a permanent part of the theatre—seen by thousands of patrons for years to come.
