Hearing Assistance
Theatre Cedar Rapids offers hearing assistance devices for “mainstage” Auditorium productions, and are available at will call prior to showtime.
Scripts
Those that prefer to read or have access to the script may check one out for three days from the box office.
Wheelchair Seating
There are six wheelchair locations in the auditorium and one wheelchair location in the studio and all of these spaces are reserved with a neighbor seat. To request this seating simply call the box office in advance. When you arrive at the theatre you will find an automatic door on the right side of the main entry and ushers waiting just beyond the lobby doors to direct you to your seats.
Elevator
The studio theatre is located in the lower level that is accessible by elevator. Simply ask an usher at the main entrance for directions and assistance to this alternate entrance upon arriving. The auditorium does not have elevator access so it is recommended to secure main floor seating if your preference is to not negotiate stairs.
Playbills
Those patrons providing the box office an email address can receive a PDF version of the playbill in advance of the show, giving you the option to print, read or share the show information. Should you take advantage of this service, please consider it as replacement of a physical playbill when you arrive for the show in an effort to aid the theatre in reducing paper consumption and printing expense. You may also view current and past Playbills online HERE.
