High school can be tough, especially if you’re Carrie White. Based upon Stephen King’s blockbuster 1974 debut novel “Carrie” and the classic 1976 movie, Carrie the Musical follows a teenage outcast who longs to fit in. At school, she’s bullied by the popular crowd and is virtually invisible to everyone else. At home, she’s dominated by her loving but cruelly-controlling mother. What none of them know is that Carrie has just discovered she has a special power — and if pushed too far, she’s not afraid to use it.

The Thanksgiving Play November 8 – December 1

Four (very) well-intentioned theatre people walk into an elementary school. The work at hand: a Thanksgiving pageant that won’t ruffle any feathers. What could possibly go wrong? The Thanksgiving Play is rambunctious, thorny, and not altogether politically correct, and is sure to serve up the hypocrisies of woke America on a big, family-style, platter. Come get ya some.

Disney’s Beauty and the Beast November 15 – December 15

Be our guest! The enchantment never ends in this stunning take on the classic fairytale. Adapted from the Academy Award-winning animated movie, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast tells the story of an unkind prince who has been magically transformed into an unsightly creature as punishment for his selfish ways. To revert into his true human form, the Beast must learn to love and be loved by Belle — a bookish and adventure-craving young lady who he has imprisoned in his enchanted castle. This ”tale as old as time” is filled with spectacular costumes, lavish scenic design, and the TCR reimaginging audiences have come to expect.

School Girls; or, The African Mean Girls Play March 14 – April 6

Set in 1986, School Girls; or, The African Mean Girls Play takes place in at Ghana’s most exclusive boarding school. Paulina, the reigning queen bee, has her sights set on the Miss Global Universe pageant. However, the arrival of a new student with undeniable talent and beauty captures the attention of the pageant recruiter—and Paulina’s hive-minded friends. This buoyant and biting comedy explores the universal similarities (and glaring differences) facing teenage girls across the globe.

Fun Home (Concert-style Musical, Auditorium) March 27 – April 6

The 1950s are out, and change is in the air! It’s 1962 in Baltimore, and the lovable plus-size teen Tracy Turnblad has only one desire – to dance on the popular “Corny Collins Show.” When her dream comes true, Tracy is transformed from social outcast to sudden star. She must use her newfound power to dethrone the reigning Teen Queen, win the affections of heartthrob Link Larkin, and integrate a TV network… all without denting her ‘do!

Amadeus May 29 – June 22

Memphis (Musical, Auditorium) June 27 – July 27
