WOW! More than 120 talented girls and young ladies auditioned for a spot in Annie, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of talent we saw in the two days of auditions. We also paid close attention to how the girls interacted with and supported each other, and how well they responded to learning the dance routine and our suggestions when speaking to or singing for us. It was such a pleasure spending time with this lovely group.
There are five girls we would like to spend more time with beginning at 6:00pm tonight, Monday, August 28. We will meet in the TCR lobby at 6:00 and then go up to the audition room for readings, singing, and perhaps another run at the dance routine. We should be able to conclude this second look in approximately 60-90 minutes, so the girls and parents should be on their way no later than 7:30. Again, this will be a closed session. In alphabetical order, these are the girls we would like to see tonight:
- Torian Julius
- Evie Kunz
- Rigley Ohrt
- Olivia Parsons
- Adora Lynn Spoor
If your name is not on this list, do not dismay. We are casting a total of 13 girls, so everyone is still in the running to be included in the show. Tomorrow, Tuesday, August 29, after 11:00AM, we will post our casting decisions for the role of Annie and the other 12 orphans.
Again, thank you for your talent, your patience, and your eagerness to participate in the magic of live theatre at TCR.
