Jayna Gudenkauf (Squirelle/Dog) Jayna is ecstatic to be back on the TCR stage. She was last seen on stage in Hello, Dolly! in 2019. This is her first performance at Brucemore and she couldn’t be more thrilled to be performing in this beautiful space. She hopes you all have a flippy floppy floory good time!
Kayla Lansing (Piggie) This will be Kayla’s third TCR show following Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella and Kinky Boots. Kayla is so excited to be back on the stage doing what she loves best! She would like to say thank you to her family and cats, as well as the cast, crew, and her wonderful theatre friends for supporting her throughout this process and reminding her of the joy of children’s theatre. Welcome back to Brucemore and enjoy the show, we are so lucky ducky to see you!
Shay Larson (Squirrelle/Manager) Shay is so excited to be a part of such a fun production for their first show at TCR! They’re most thrilled about working with such a lovely cast and crew, and can’t wait to see their sister’s face light up when she sees her favorite characters come to life. They’d also like to thank their family and friends for always believing in them and supporting them throughout this journey in their life.
Ava Macek (Squirrelle) Ava is absolutely thrilled to be performing on the Brucemore stage! Favorite roles include Mary Lennox in The Secret Garden, dancer in Brucemorchestra XIV, and ensemble/dancer in Hello, Dolly! and My Fair Lady at TCR. Outside of theatre, Ava is a two-time All-State violist. Caleb Marner (Elephant Gerald) Caleb is ecstatic to be performing with Theatre Cedar Rapids yet again and thrilled to be on the Brucemore stage. He has been a part of many TCR shows this season. A few of his favorites being Let the Right One In and Kinky Boots. You May also have seen him in City Circles production of Legally Blonde. Caleb would like to thank everyone who helped bring this incredibly uplifting show to life!
Kara Ramirez (Squirrelle/Penguin) Kara is excited to be in her first Brucemore show! She is so glad to share this show with Mo Willems fans of all ages. Kara was last seen as Nicola in Kinky Boots and as part of the new cabaret series. She’d like to thank Jeff for his patience, and Franklin and Eleanor for their support.
