FINAL WEEKEND! BOOK NOW!
Music by Michael Gore. Lyrics by Dean Pitchford. Book by Lawrence D. Cohen. Based on the novel by Stephen King.
High school can be tough, especially if you are Carrie White. Based upon Stephen King’s blockbuster 1974 debut novel Carrie and the classic 1976 film adaption, Carrie: The Musical follows a teenage outcast who longs to fit in. At school, she’s bullied by the popular crowd, and virtually invisible to everyone else. At home, she’s dominated by her loving but cruelly-controlling mother. What none of them know is that Carrie has just discovered she has a special power — and if pushed too far, she’s not afraid to use it. Kick off spooky season with a fun pre-Halloween theatre night at Carrie: The Musical!
Content Warning: This musical contains strong language, violence, death, religious abuse, bullying, visible blood, and mentions of sexual assault. Please be advised.
