Come Make a Play! The Wizard of Oz

Thursday, April 25, 6:00-7:00pm, with the class viewing The Wizard of Oz preview night performance; then meeting on Thursdays, 3:30-5:30pm, May 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30. Cost: $30 (TCR member rate $24) adults age 18+ The “Come Make a Play!” class is an opportunity for creative and vibrant adults with intellectual disabilities to connect with each other as friends and use teamwork to create and perform an original short play for an audience of friends and family.
Our Town

On stage June 6 - June 16, 2013. Narrated by a stage manager and performed with minimal props and sets, audiences follow the Webb and Gibbs families as their children fall in love, marry, and eventually—in one of the most famous scenes in American theatre—die. ADD TO CART
Early Dismissal Play in a Day

Cedar Rapids elementary school students are invited to take a one day, two and a half hour class on the early dismissal Wednesdays. Come to TCR for some fun theatre games, and with a little creative teamwork, we’ll put together a short, original play, which we’ll show to parents at 4:45 during the last fifteen minutes of the class.

TCR Summer Camp 2013

TCR’s popular summer education programs include classes for children going into kindergarten through high school. Our education programs are designed to be age-appropriate. Younger students learn to hone the imagination and creativity through play activities leading to story dramatization, with some arts and crafts as well.
