Please check back with us this spring for information about the 2012 Summer Camps. In the meantime, we have general info about summer camp below!
If your student is in between classes (just finished Kindergarten, 2nd, 5th, or 8th grades) we leave it up to you to decide which class is appropriate. Some students learn best as the older kid in the class and some as the younger student – as a parent, you know your student and we’ll leave that decision up to you. If a student isn’t in between, they should always be placed with their age group in order to ensure the best experience possible.
All our classes and camps are designed to be age appropriate. Younger students learn to hone their imagination and creativity through play activities, arts and crafts. Older students will explore the theories and methodologies of performance as well as the technical aspects of theatre. No two classes or camps will be exactly the same, and many students choose to participate more than once. All will include a final showcase during the last day.
3-5th graders, 6-8th graders and 9-12th graders have several options for camps in the morning and the afternoon. Any time there is a camp in the morning and a camp in the afternoon for the same age group, it can become an all-day option. If a student signs up for a morning and afternoon option, we would be happy to supervise the lunch hour in between, all you have to do is send a lunch.
There are no all day options for Kindergarten and 1-2nd graders.
