Help us celebrate at this special one-night event!
We’re getting ready to celebrate our first full season back downtown with our Season Kick-Off Gala fundraiser -- and we want you to join us! The Gala, featuring opening night of 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, will take place Friday, Sept. 10, 2010 beginning at 6 p.m.
Join us for this fun-filled event where you can participate in a silent auction in the “Teacher’s Lounge,” enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in the “Principal’s Office,” or get your “class photo” taken as a souvenir for just $10, complete with glasses and other props. You could even end up onstage as a spelling bee participant in the première performance of 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. read more »

New to the educational programming offered by TCR are Skill Builders. These are free to the public workshops that are intended to teach new skills or improve the old skills of our volunteers. We hope that all volunteers (new and returning!) will take the chance to brush up or learn something new. The first of our Skill Builders is an “Adult Audition Workshop” (there will be a kids version offered later in the season). read more »

Maybe you even got to see some of the work that was produced, including I’m Not Rappaport, Sex, Drugs, and Rock & Roll, NOIZ, or Iowa Stories. Many have been asking, “When will it come back?” and, “I have a great idea, when will we get to do Second Season again?” read more »
