Your membership is vital! Ticket revenue represents less than half of TCR’s operating budget.

Your membership contribution underwrites such necessary expenses as show royalties, sets and costumes. You make it possible for TCR to educate students and adults through a year-long schedule of classes and our popular summer camps.

Company Match

Corporate matching gifts count toward your membership. To leverage your gift to TCR, please:

  • Obtain a matching gift form from your personnel office or call your personnel office to have a form mailed to your home.
  • Mail the completed matching gift form to Theatre Cedar Rapids along with your gift.

“The Next Act” Capital Campaign

Announced in January 2008, “The Next Act” Capital Campaign is raising funds to renovate the historic Iowa Theater Building.

Angel’s Circle ($5,000 & above)
Includes all benefits of the Producer’s Circle, plus:

  • Complimentary use of the Iowa Theater Lounge*

Producer’s Circle ($3,000-$4,999)
Includes all benefits of the Director’s Circle, plus:

  • Complimentary use of the Hedges Library*
  • Brass recognition plaque
    displayed in the TCR lobby
Director’s Circle ($1,000-$2,999)
Includes all benefits of the Artist’s Circle, plus:

  • One complimentary reserved parking space for every 2009-10 mainstage production**
    When you reserve your tickets to our mainstage performances, your space in the US Bank parking lot is reserved, too! Simply give your name to the parking attendant to park free of charge.
  • Two additional invitations to the The Laramie Project reception
Artist’s Circle ($500-$999)
Includes benefits of the Advocates, plus:

  • Invitation for two to a private reception on opening night of The Laramie Project
Advocates ($300-$499)
Includes all benefits of the Partners, plus:

  • Priority reservation and ticket purchase privileges
  • Two complimentary soft drinks for five 2009-10 mainstage productions
  • Two additional invitations to the Open Rehearsals
Partners ($100-$299)
Includes all benefits of the Members, plus:

  • Invitation to Backstage Tour
  • Invitation for two to each of the Open Rehearsals
