EDWARD CARSONThe lawyer for the prosecution.

LORD ALFRED DOUGLAS“Bosie,” the object of Wilde’s love.

THE JUDGE (SIR ALFRED WILLS)Presiding judge at the trials who sentenced Wilde.

GEORGE BERNARD SHAWThe English playwright who befriended Wilde and defended him.

SIDNEY WRIGHTPorter at the Albemarle Club.

FRANK HARRIS Wilde’s friend and biographer.

QUEEN VICTORIA Queen of England who reigned during Wilde’s life and signed the Criminal Law Amendment Act (the Gross Indecency Law) of 1895.

MOISES KAUFMANThe playwright.

PROFESSOR MARVIN TAYLORCo-editor of the book, Reading Wilde.
